High-Speed Exit

High-Speed Exit

More Videos

Aircraft with a rear-exit and high-tail can allow wingsuiters to perform high-speed exits.

Usually a skydive exit will be performed at low speed to allow jumpers to exit in a safe and stable position and avoid hitting the tail of an aircraft. On rear-exit aircraft such as the Skyvan or Casa however, a wingsuiter can exit at much higher speeds and achieve lift on exit if performed correctly (fly above the plane).
